Mia Montero is a beautiful and talented 16-year-old singer/songwriter who lives in Lafayette, and attends Lafayette High School.
She began her career in 2004 with a group of children and teens across Louisiana, known as Louisiana Kids, who meet to perform at competitions, events and festivals throughout the state.
Mia began singing at church and became part of the worship team. She brought her love of serving and singing to mission trips in Guatemala, where she sang worship songs and played guitar for the villagers. Mia began her first job as a vocal coach last year. Since then Mia has performed at events, coffee shops, restaurants, funerals and competitions around Louisiana. Recently, she began traveling to Austin, Texas where she played throughout the city, mainly downtown on popular Sixth Street. In June of 2016, Mia opened for the band “Suede” in Austin.

Mia will be performing at Noel Acadian Au Village throughout December and is one of our featured artists at the 1063 Radio Lafayette Acoustic Christmas on Wednesday, December 14th.
