Motel Radio performed in Lafayette over the weekend & put on a phenomenal show.They are based in New Orleans & formed in 2014. Texas natives Ian Wellman and Winston Triolo began their songwriting collaboration while attending college in Baton Rouge, where they met fellow musicians Eric Lloyd (drums) and Andrew Pancamo (bass). The band started playing gigs in the college bar circuit & continued to be heavily influenced by independent songwriters in the area.
In 2015, the band moved to New Orleans and immersed itself in the vibrant music scene. Motel Radio recorded its debut EP, Days and Nights, at Listen Up! Studios.
In November of 2015, Motel Radio traveled to the historic Dockside Studio in Maurice, Louisiana to begin tracking the band’s debut album with help from producers Justin Tocket and Ben Alleman.
