I finally made it to the famous Louisiana summer hot spot that everyone talks about -Tiki Tubing in Denham Springs, Louisiana! It was one of the most enjoyable experiences EVER! I’ve always been a fan of beach & salt water as opposed to rivers & lakes because I am afraid of snakes. Well, I decided to face my fear and thankfully I didn’t see any! If you’ve been to Tiki Tubing you already know how awesome & fun it is. If not, make it a point to get out there this summer and enjoy the beauty of the Amite River! There are several sand bars along the route much like ocean sand where you can stop & hang out. If you forget anything, they’ve got you covered. Tiki Tubing has a great store with items like water, sunscreen, sunglasses hats, t-shirts etc. You can even rent ice chests and ice chest floats. I found this great video of a day on the Amite River.
