Have y’all heard that there will be a tasty new festival dedicated to the po’boy coming up in April! The Acadiana Po-boy Festival will celebrate the legacy of the humble po-boy sandwich, expands its boundaries, and seeks to promote the culture & hospitality of Acadiana through food, music and fun! Laissez Les Po-boys Rouler!

In addition to live entertainment from Roddie Romero and the Hub City All-Stars, there will be children’s activities, the world’s largest po’boy display and 15 po’boy vendors.

It’s all taking place on April 2 at Parc Sans Souci in downtown Lafayette from 1pm – 6pm. This free festival will also serve as a benefit for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Acadiana.

Collin Cormier of Pop’s Poboys and Gus Rezende of Jefferson Street Pub are the festival organizers.

More information on the upcoming festival soon.
