New Orleans-based synth-pop duo Von Mozes is Kyle Riche (vocals/guitar) and Matthew Cloutier (drums/programming). While the guys in Von Mozes consider themselves primarily a writing/producing team their aesthetic, live show, and song craft is that of an electro rock band.
The musical chemistry between Kyle and Matthew comes from years of making music together in New Orleans’ band, King Rey. With backgrounds stemming from jaded, bluesy, personal pessimism and selfish angst, the duo decided to take the ultimate risk and passionately pursue the golden optimism of pure pop music.
