It’s been a long time coming, but Radiohead is getting some much deserved love with the announcement that they were going to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in the Class of 2019.
The iconic group with hits such as “Karma Police” and “Creep” will be inducted on March 29th 2019 alongside Stevie Nicks, The Cure, Def Leppard, and The Zombies at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
“The band thanks the Hall of Fame voting body and extends congratulations to this year’s fellow inductees,” the group said in a statement on Thursday. While they got in, several other artists like Rage Against the Machine, Devo, MC5, and Chaka Khan that will are on the longlist of artists that will have to wait another year to see if they get in.
