Founded by internet brand icon, Mashable, Social Media Day is a global celebration that takes place on June 30th of every year. Intended to be a day of connection, education and exploration, Social Media Day encourages users and businesses the world over to explore new ways of connecting with others.
This Social Media Day, Lafayette agencies and organizations are joining together to educate the community and honor the media that connects us. Social Media Day Lafayette will feature a lineup of seminars and networking activities, all of which will be free of charge and open to the public.
Each class will take place at Opportunity Machine, located in the LITE Center in Lafayette, at 537 Cajundome Boulevard.
Class titles and descriptions are listed below. To attend, simply click on the title of the event which will direct you to the individual Facebook event for that class. From there, simply click “Interested” or “Going” at the top of the screen and you’re good to go with no further registration required. Pick one class or attend them all!
