A Tornado WATCH has been issued for parts of Acadiana until 5:00 pm.
The parishes included are Acadia, Lafayette, Vermilion, St. Mary, St. Martin, and St. Landry Parish as well as the eastern half of the state.Conditions are favorable for storms to produce a few tornadoes, damaging winds, and large hail up to an inch in diameter. Please be vigilant in monitoring the weather situation and stay indoors if you can avoid going out today.
