Lafayette, LA recording artist LANE MACK released a new single “It Must’ve Been Rain” last week… in my opinion it’s one of his best songs to date and features some of the best players in town… it’s fantastic! “It Must’ve Been Rain” written and performed by LANE MACK features Julie Williams on Lead Duet Vocals, Chris Stafford on Steel Guitar, Ian Guidroz on electric bass, and Jim Kolacek on Drums. It was recorded LIVE in Lafayette, LA at Staffland Studios with video production by MagicBusTV. This is a glimpse into the new music to come from LANE MACK as he is ever evolving and testing his limits to which it’s seems there are none… and while he can be sometimes impatient when it comes to releasing new music as he stated on Facebook last Sunday, I know from speaking with him personally that his musical journey is a marathon not a sprint.
In the week since he has released “It Must’ve Been Rain” the music video has reached 40,000+ views and it continues to rise… However, he now wants to use his new song’s attention to help raise awareness of something awful that has affected a fellow local musician and artist livelihood, Chrysi Forton. He posted this on his Facebook page last night…
