Pokémon Go Player finds Dead Body instead of Pokémon

If you’ve been playing Pokémon Go, hopefully you’ve found your water Pokémon… and not what this girl found…

In case you’ve been avoiding the masses who can’t stop talking about it, you probably already know all about this game. Pokémon Go requires players to go outside to find monsters “located” in the real world (it is an augmented reality game ). A teen in Wyoming went on a walk toward a river in Riverton Friday, hoping to find a Pokémon from “a natural water resource.” When she was looking in the river, she noticed something floating water, not in game, but in the actual water. It was no Pokémon… it was a dead body.

And no, she didn’t keep looking for Pokémon, she did the right thing and called 911.

Authorities are still trying to identify the body, and it appears he died by accident…

If you’re still wondering if she captured the Pokémon that she was after, shame on you… But no, she did not, because she stopped playing to call the police. What funny is that the police didn’t really know what Pokémon Go was.

For those of you who are playing in Acadiana… maybe avoid the Achafalaya River…
