Once upon a time, in a land far far away… called Sweden… There was a fantastical band by the name of Magna Carta Cartel.
They made beautiful songs – music that seemed as though it were the soundtrack to movies that have not yet been written.
8 years ago MCC released their debut album Goodmorning Restrained. Throughout the years lots of people have requested physical copies of the album – something that has never existed. It had been years since their silence, having disbanded because of other projects that took much of their time.
A few months go, the band announced they would do a physical release of Goodmorning Restrained on March 31st, 2017. They not only offered vinyl on this release, but also a limited package, including cds and merch. Many speculated a return to the music scene for this obscure band… and now it’s a reality.
Finally, Magna Carta Cartel is BACK, with “Sway” – the first single from their upcoming release, due in early spring 2017, check out the lyric video below!
