I have red hair.

I like stuff and things… and I have what some people call “Peter Pan Syndrome.”

It means I like toys, video games, cartoons, and comic books… and don’t like bills, bedtime, or anything un-fun…

Outside of work, I cosplay. Which for me, is not just dressing up as fictional characters, but sewing and crafting the costumes myself. I do video game and anime character costumes, with the occasional comic book hero.

I also travel some weekends to places like Austin, Houston, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and other places where I host workshops and panels on things like armor-making, weapon crafting, sewing, and competing professionally. I am also model, both in costume and out… But let’s face it… everything is more fun in costume 🙂

The 2 pics of the costume below is from a national competition that was held a few years ago in Chicago called the “World Cosplay Summit.” (RAWR I turn into a DRAGON)

Basically, there are 6 to 8 teams in the US are selected to compete for a chance to be “Team USA”, and the winner of that title competes against other countries for the finals in Japan. I am proud to be in the ONLY Louisiana team that has made it into nationals in the USA. It is a huge honor!!!

I also love to play video games and Magic the Gathering. Yep I’m a nerd 🙂
