A Michigan barber refuses to close his shop and according to one report, there is a steady line waiting to get in for a fresh cut.

The Governor of Michigan, like many other state governments, issued a Stay-At-Home order mandating the closure of salons and barbershops. Karl Manke is a 77-year-old barber and he is open for business. His shop has been serving the people in Owosso, Michigan for the last 60 years.

According to a report, he says that he does not need the governor to be his mother and he can make decisions for himself. Apparently, people ranging between the ages of 19 and 90 are traveling great distances to obtain his services. In the article, Karl Manke says he has lots of bills to pay and has had trouble with unemployment services in the past. Plus, it has taken years to build his barbershop clientele and he does not want to lose his business. He vows to stay open until they arrest him.

Reportedly, authorities are aware that his shop is open. If charged with violating the Stay-At-Home order, Manke could face a 90-day misdemeanor that includes fines up to $500.
