What if your fave 80s cartoon was re-done in Cajun English??? What would THAT sound like?
Ladies and gentlemen, we have the answer… TUNDA MINOUS!
Church point native Ash Reese, came up with this brilliant take on the Thunder Cats, but with Cajun accents and story lines dubbed over the original animated series. It’s called the “TundaMinous”. It’s a shame that people outside of Louisiana might not understand the humor, not being exposed to our culture, but those lucky enough to call Acadiana home, will love it!
The pilot already has over 30,000 views, there are about 8 episodes at this point – and right now he’s pushing to be a media guest at the upcoming Lafayette Comic-Con at the CajunDome in October. I’m all for it!!

Episode 6 and 7 are my personal favorites, both referencing a favorite local Louisiana band from my tween-hood, Acid Bath, and Chief Meteoroligist Rob Perillo makes a guest appearance as himself in episode 7. Watch episode 7 below (no it doesn’t matter if you watch out of order, still funny as hell)
