In the mood for a new book? Do you enjoy the trill of the hunt? Well, The Friends of the Library Book Sale is going down very soon here in Acadiana with all kinds of goodies for you to get in on.
The public book sale happens from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 10-11 and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 12 at the Heymann Performing Arts Center.
A special friends’ night sale happens from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 9.
Books cost $1 per inch for hardbacks and 50 cents per inch for paperbacks. DVDs are $3, CDs are $2 and vinyl records are 25 cents. Audiobooks, encyclopedia sets and more are available for a variety of prices.
In addition to the book sale, a silent auction is underway today through Sept. 27 at the South Regional Library for some of the more valuable donated books and DVDs.
