The Launch Box featuring Nothing but Thieves
If you like: Foals, The Neighbourhood, and Big Data
Nothing But Thieves is an English five-piece alternative rock band formed in 2012. The band consists of Conor Mason (vocals), Joe Langridge-Brown (guitars), Dominic Craik (guitars, keyboards), James Price (drums), and Philip Blake (bass guitar).
In 2014, they were signed to RCA Records. Their style of music has been compared to Foals, The Neighbourhood, and Civil Twilight, and they’ve been played on both modern rock and active rock radio.
The band’s single “Itch” picked up Hottest Record and Track Of The Day accolades on Radio 1 and also made it onto the Radio 1 playlist, as well as being added in regular rotation of Sirius XM new hard rock channel Octane. They’ve been on tour with Awolnation, Arcade Fire, George Ezra, and Young Guns, and in July 2015 they supported Muse at the Rock In Roma show, playing in front of 30,000 people.

Their sold-out “Ban All the Music” tour of the UK began on 19 October 2015 – which was also the title of one of their singles from their debut album. “Ban All the Music” appeared in the soundtrack for the EA Sports game “Madden 16” (August 2015)
One of their most popular songs “Trip Switch”, reached #1 on the Alternative Rock chart, and was featured in the FIFA 16 video game (August 2015)
Their debut album, Nothing But Thieves entered the Official UK chart at No. 7, peaked at No. 3 on iTunes and was No.1 on the vinyl album charts. A second British tour in April 2016, to be called the Under My Skin tour, was announced on 9 November 2015.

The band had to postpone some dates on their ‘Under My Skin’ tour as they were asked to support Muse on their ‘Drones’ tour. They tweeted their elation on Twitter, branding the experience “pretty awesome”.
