Under The Covers is something we do every Monday through Friday at the top of the 1pm hour – It’s a segment where we feature a band or artist, covering some other really cool band or artist!

Monday: Olympia covering “Dreams” by Beck
Tuesday: A TWO-FOR!! Collide covering “Space Oddity” by David Bowie
… aaaaaand 311 covering “Love Song” by The Cure (aka the best cover song ever recorded in history <3)
Wednesday: ANOTHER TWO-FOR!! The Smashing Pumpkins covering “Landslide” by Fleetwood Mac
… aaaaand Mayday Parade covering “Somebody That I Used to Know” by Gotye
Thursday: Tom Jones covering “Black Betty” by… uuhhh maybe Huddie “Lead Belly” Ledbetter? Though he wasn’t the first to record it – possibly based on an 18th-century marching cadence about a flint-lock musket with a black painted stock. Probably the most well-known version is the classic rock version by Ram Jam.
Friday: Patti Smith covering “Smells Like Teen Spirit” by Nirvana
